CLC's
Vision
It is CLC's purpose to help people come into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is also to bring others alongside of individuals, to form authentic connections to create a community of active believers.
CLC's intent is to lead people on a journey from salvation, sanctification, discipleship, worship, and service to a place Christ called paradises--we know it as Heaven. Until that final day, we have the promise that we are not alone, Immanuel, God Is With Us!
Establishing and Improving Relationships with Christ and Others
Get to Know Us
We are a "new start" church. Starting in 2024, Christian Life Church changed directions due to low attendance, financial shortages, and other deficiencies. To confront this we first hired a new Pastor,
Rev. Dr. Scott W. Frisbie, who came to CLC in November 2023.
Since then we are already beginning to rebuild, as the Lord has blessed us with some new attendees, a nursery ministry, children's church, and our giving has seen a significant increase. Even though it is difficult to build again, we are confident that CLC is here for such a time as this. The church was planted here in the past for a reason and we believe that God will use us once again for His glory.
We invite you to come and get to know us. We are a loving church who follows the Bible, its direction and discretions. Come and be a part of what God is doing as CLC looks to the future here in Kissimmee. We mean it when we say we are about Loving God and Loving Others.
Join us as we Establish and Improve Relationships with Christ and You.
Our Story
Christian Life Church was first organized in February 2002 as New Life Church, A Worship and Ministry Center under the leadership of Rev. Gene Anspach.
CLC was birthed from a nearby Nazarene church, whose roots can be traced back to the Methodist denomination. Our theology and ideology are based in these Wesleyan traditions.
The people who began this ministry embraced the ideals of holiness and wished to exemplify this in their daily lives and in the lives of their children.
Originally meeting at a doctor’s office, the group quickly outgrew the facility and moved into an area of the Holiday Inn on West 192, Kissimmee.
Officially organized with 104 charter members, they continued to meet in the conference room of the Holiday Inn and celebrated their first anniversary with a special service on February 9, 2003, in the Community House on Monument Avenue.
At this time Rev. Randall Wright was serving with Rev. Gene Anspach as pastors. The next move for Christian Life Church was to P. M. Wells School on Partin Settlement Road.
The congregation meet in the cafeteria and each week they had to set up, tear down, clean, and make the room ready for school the next day. These determined people kept the faith and kept serving the Lord and before they knew it, in 2003, 6.5 acres of undeveloped property was purchased.
Then the church leadership began the arduous task of construction. After numerous delays and unexpected obstacles, and at times seemingly daunting tasks, the church persevered.
Through much prayer, time, and effort CLC was able to complete the building we meet in today. We received our permanent occupancy permit, dedicated the facility, and held our first service in the new building April 1, 2007, on Palm Sunday.
And the rest of the story, well it keeps being written…Praise Jesus!
